Q: How do I apply for an SGA scholarship?

A: Scholarship criteria and applications can be found on both the SGA website and the Office of Student Financial Assistance website.

 

Q: The scholarship I am applying for says that I need to have a particular amount of credit hours. What if I will have them complete by the end of the current semester?

A: In order to be eligible for a scholarship, you must have the designated amount of credits specified on the criteria ALREADY completed before applying. If you do not have enough credits at the time you apply, your application will be automatically withdrawn from the selection process.

 

Q: Where do I submit my application for an SGA scholarship?

A: All SGA scholarship applications are to be turned into the Office of Student Financial Assistance.

 

Q: When are the SGA scholarships due?

A: All SGA scholarships have different deadlines. Please be sure to check the application for the designated due date and both websites for any updates or extensions.

 

Q: I submitted my SGA scholarship application. Now what do I do?

A: The Office of Student Financial Assistance will contact you within 2 months of when you submit your application as to whether you received the scholarship or not. Any and all questions about your scholarship, once it is submitted, should be directed to the Office of Student Financial Assistance.

 

Q: If I won a scholarship, how do I receive my scholarship award?

A: The Office of Student Financial Assistance will deposit the money you were awarded into your financial aid account on myUCF.
