Student Services at the University of Central Florida are paramount in the day-to-day activities of students. Such services embody the UCF Creed and allow students to properly exercise their rights as outlined in the Golden Rule Student Handbook

Appeals

If a student feels that he or she has received an unjust decision, whether it be during an SGA Election, grade, or fee, an appeal process exists to further review it. It is highly encouraged for students to follow the individual appeal processes, which are dependent upon the appeal-type. For SGA Appeals, including Parking Appeals, the Judicial Council is the final authority. Students may also appeal a fee that has been registered to a particular student, a class grade, and/or eligibility within different student organizations. “The office of Student Legal Services seeks to provide qualified students at the University of Central Florida with legal counseling and court representation in certain cases. The staff attorneys interview each client individually to advise in the areas of law that concern the student. Cases which are not covered by the program guidelines are referred to appropriate agencies or private attorneys through a lawyer referral service. The operation of the program is subject at all times to the rules and regulations promulgated by the Supreme Court of Florida and the Board of Governors of the Florida Bar. The program is approved by the Florida Bar and is staffed by licensed attorneys.”

DRS

The mission of Dispute Resolution Services is to serve the university community by offering training and services directed at resolving interpersonal disputes. Facilitation of communication between parties promotes understanding, settlement, and reconciliation. Through mediation services, one on one coaching, and various educational programs, the DRS office enhances the mission of the university by promoting individual responsibility and personal development.

Health Services Mission Statement

The mission of UCF Health Services is to provide quality outpatient clinical care and health promotion services that promote, restore and maintain the optimal health of students, faculty and staff by health care workers who welcome diversity and are committed to excellent, affordable, confidential and compassionate services that meet accreditation standards and enhance students learning experience in matters of personal health and well being.

Judicial Branch

The Judicial Branch is composed of students dedicated to improving the overall experience of the student body here at UCF. They accomplish this by protecting the student body's rights and through the interpretation of the Constitution. Justices also sit on a variety of committees such as SGA Parking Appeals, the Student Conduct Board, Fee Appeals, Grade Appeals, Eligibility Appeals, and serve as the appeals court for election violations and impeachments in Student Government. They also reach out to the student body through a variety of initiatives, including: SGA Concierge, Greek Outreach, RSO Outreach, and the Justice League.
